NAPA (the National Asphalt Pavement Association) has awarded Hubbard’s Orlando plants, Jacksonville’s Atlantic Coast Asphalt plants and West Palm Beach’s new East Coast asphalt plant with NAPA’s Diamond Achievement Award.
The Diamond Achievement Award is given to HMA (hot mix asphalt) production facilities that are superior in appearance, operations, environmental practices, safety, permitting and compliance, and community relations. NAPA Chairman Jim Roberts commended Atlantic Coast Asphalt for their success. “By earning the Diamond Achievement, Atlantic Coast Asphalt has shown the community that it will go the extra mile for excellence,” said Roberts.
The Soutel Plant has been in production for less than a year and has already won its first Diamond Achievement. This will be the seventh year in a row that the Shad plant has achieved the award.
“I would like to thank all of our plant employees for their hard work and for making a better environment and better place to work,” said Larry Pruitt, Vice President of ACA asphalt division.
A special thanks to the following employees who made this award possible: Kevin Crews, David Bone, Warren Swaner, Randall Bristol, Robert Astorino, Scott McCrary, Steve Solerno, Jesse Day, James Gay, Bennett O’Steen, John Padgett, David Elliott, Marcus Terrell, and Ronald Williams.
The Diamond Achievement award is sponsored by NAPA, an association that exclusively represents the interests of the hot-mix asphalt trade. The award was open to industry members and was judged by an independent panel of judges.
