Blythe’s Safety Program Nationally Recognized
November 15th, 2007Blythe Construction received national recognition at the AGC (Associated General Contractors) of America’s 88th annual convention last year. Blythe (whose safety program was given an award by the local branch of AGC earlier in the year) was given the National Construction Safety Excellence Award for a highway division with 700,000 to 1 million man hours.
In order to be a finalist in this award, Blythe had to achieve zero work site fatalities and have their safety program examined by the AGC. Blythe was judged on the success of their training programs, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation.
Congratulations again to our safety team and to everyone who makes safety a number one priority.
